Love won't go THAT far, Will It?

On a conference call recently I was strongly encouraged (Thank you Karen, Shelly and Sherri) to start a Blog, I have decided to Go For It! So, here we go… I am new to the whole Blogging World so please bear with me while I learn…

Today, I was at work, one of my co-workers happened to see a book I am reading on my desk and started a conversation with me. She looked at me, then picked up the book and sort of scanned thru it and set it down… She said, “Do you really believe all this GOD STUFF?” I replied, “Yes, I really, really do!”  She then proceeded to ask me what seemed to be 100 questions about God…

The questions she had that seemed to perplex her the most were, How could God love her? How could He excuse all the bad things she had done in her life? As I sat there explaining what I have experienced of the Love of God and what I knew the Word of God said concerning God and His unending love for His Children, Ephesians Chapter 3 verse 17 – 19, came flooding my mind and heart. “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.”

You see, Beloved, The Apostle Paul prayed that we’d know the Width, Height, Length and Depth of Love. Do you know Jesus like that? Ask Him to reveal Himself to you!

My Co-worker, after hearing about how God loved her, went on to say to me, “Love won’t go THAT far, will it?” Really? Friend, Love is a Person. A person named Jesus. He went THAT far and they tried to kill Him. It DIDN’T work, LOVE Rises Again! Aren’t you glad Love rose again for you? Aren’t you glad Jesus went THAT far? Just like I explained to my Co-Worker, Jesus did all He could do to express His unchanging, unfailing Love for you, you simply have to make the choice to accept it! I choose Love! What do you choose?
